After many years The Reg Lindsay Country Homestead TV show out of Brisbane will soon be available in DVD format.
Over 30 years ago Reg received a call from one of the camera men from his TV show that the recordings of Reg’s shows were going to the dump! The camera man said what do I do and of course Reg said grab them. The tapes of the award winning show were big 2 inch tapes in heavy steel canisters. Reg kept them safe for years. Late last year Ros decided to contact Channel 9 in Sydney and tell them the story and to request permission to put the shows together for family and fans as she had many calls asking if the show was available on DVD. So it is planned the first of several Reg Lindsay Country Homestead Shows will be available later this year. Any one interested in buying one of the precious copies can contact Reg Lindsay Promotions office to secure their order as they will be limited editions. The cost for the DVD will be $25 plus P & P.
