A great day was had by all who attended the Official opening of The Reg Lindsay Memory Barn at 11 am on Thursday January 21st 2021. After the opening everyone had the chance to take a trip down memory lane and enjoy many years of a life well lived by Reg Lindsay. Wall to wall awards , posters , photos of Reg and the many who appeared on his two television shows were all there to be enjoyed. Some of Reg’s guitars are on show along side his Father’s fiddle. Reg’s belt buckle collection and dozens of harmonica’s all played by Reg Lindsay. There is also plenty to read with scrap books collected and put together many years ago showing just how much Reg Lindsay was loved and  what he meant to the music industry both here and in Nashville. A selection of Reg Lindsay CD’s and a few LP’s are available to purchase along with the first official DVD of Reg Lindsay’s televisions shows  titled  “Country All The Way.” Other never before seen film clips of Reg and Ros’s co written songs including Country All The Way, Thing’s Have Been Coming Good, the Last Thing At Night and Today’s Like Yesterday. Adam Harvey intros the DVD and interviews with Bert Newton and Jade Hurley talking about how Reg was a trailblazer and  how he opened the doors for many of the artists who now make their way to Nashville to record and write songs with some of the best musicians in the industry. Ros and good friend Jack Paten have put a pictorial book together featuring dozens of black and white photos taken on set of the Reg Lindsay television shows. Along with some very interesting stories and facts about a Man who had a huge career both here in Australia and overseas . To purchase this wonderful book titled Reg Lindsay “Setting The Pace ” is available on the CD page for $20 plus $5 postage. The Memory Barn will open to fans with bookings starting to roll in.
